HDMI splitter (switch) is a small device that allows you to connect two video sources to the HDMI input, e.g. TV tuner, TV box, DVD player or video game console. Now you can forget about the issue with the lack of HDMI ports on your TV, projector or monitor. The switch is compatible with any device which has the HDMI port. As it has a built-in Plug&Play function, you do not have to install any drivers to be able to use the device. It also guarantees excellent image quality.

The device is equipped with two input ports and two output ports. The top button provides a quick way to switch between sockets. When only one port is active, the switch will automatically swap to it. The signal source is indicated by a LED light located next to the button. When you turn on or connect an image source, the splitter will automatically swap to it. Once the source in use is switched off or disconnected, the device will move immediately to the next active source.

Solution to the problem with the lack of HDMI ports

This universal switch allows you to connect two image sources (e.g. console and TV box) to a TV, projector or monitor. It has 2 input and 2 output ports. This means that you can clone the image from a source to two output devices. For example, you can display the same computer image on a monitor and projector and then switch to a different source.

The adapter only supports the image-cloning option, there is no desktop extension function.

Quick Plug & Play connection

The splitter does not require the installation of any additional software. Just plug the cables into the devices and everything should work instantly.

All you have to do first is to connect it to the power supply. It includes a USB cable which you can connect to, e.g. a regular phone charger or to the USB port on your TV (if you have one.)

Remote control

An IR receiver is provided with the switch. It is a cable that has an infrared receiver on one side and a 3.5 mm mini jack on the other. The remote control already has a battery inside, you only need to remove the protective foil that secures the battery from discharging before the actual use.

There are 4 buttons on the remote control: red 'on/off' switch, '1', '2' and 'Next'. Use '1' and '2' buttons to change a source, and press 'Next' to swap to the next source. When only one image source is active, it is automatically routed to the output port.

Except the buttons situated on the remote control, the switch has a single button on its housing. By using it, you can also change the device from which the image is transmitted. There is a LED on the casing that lights up to indicate which source is active at the moment.

Vivid image and sound

This small but functional device supports the HDMI 2.0 standard. It also supports the 4K image with 60Hz and 3D. It provides transmission of video and audio without delay or interference. Electronic control systems ensure that data transfer is continuous and stable.
