Rebel Rising, Rebel Rising

Set against the backdrop of a sultry Alabama summer in 1987, Rebel Rising tells a haunting tale of a young boy's courage in the face of unspeakable tragedy. Twelve-year-old Rebel's world shatters when he finds his brother dead, leaving behind a silence heavy with secrets. But the silence speaks, and from it emerges a voice urging Rebel to rise against the tides of danger encroaching upon his family. Rebel Rising is a story of a boy who must become a man too soon, a ghostly brother who guides from beyond, and a trial that transcends reality where justice is dealt in the most unlikely court. It is a vivid portrait of the lengths one will go to protect family and the harrowing costs of such a battle. More than a coming-of-age story, Rebel Rising is a narrative of resilience, the power of the human spirit, and the indelible bond of blood
